Tricia Hasbrook and Thea Schreiber

Tricia and Thea met at a Defeat Autism Now (DAN) Conference in October 2003. At the time, they were both in search of biomedical treatments and complimentary therapies to help heal their sons. With this like vision in mind, Tricia and Thea became close friends as they negotiated the complex world of autism. Today, they continue to seek answers for all children--with growth, health, and recovery weighing heavily on their minds.

Tricia and Thea have attended multiple conferences and trainings, including DAN Conferences in October of 2003, 2005, and 2006; Autism One in May 2004 and 2008; and the DIR (Floortime) Institute in November 2004. They both have extensive experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Sensory Integration, Floortime, Speech Language and Occupational Therapies, and both the SCD and GFCF Diets. They are also well versed in GI Disorders, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, and Dr. Amy Yasko’s Protocol.

Tricia holds both a Master’s Degree in English and a Master of Arts in Teaching. She taught for several years for the Beaverton School District at Sunset High School. From 2004-2008, Tricia worked as a literacy specialist and as a case manager for at-risk youth.

Thea holds a Bachelor of Science in Management and Marketing. She worked for Entertainment Publications, Ottens, and Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce. Thea is currently employed by Columbia River Knife and Tool.

Tricia and Thea will oversee the daily operations of Victory Academy, including hiring, admissions selections, purchasing, budgeting, volunteer coordination, and parent communications.

Tricia lives in Tualatin, Oregon with her husband, Bill, and their three sons. Her eldest son is the inspiration for Victory Academy.

Thea also lives in Tualatin, Oregon with her husband, Mark, and their two sons. Her eldest son is considered recovered.
