Admissions Process: Prerequisite Skills

Victory Academy Welcomes All Applicants with the Following Prerequisite Skills:

Applicant follows a minimum of 10 one step directions including, come here, sit down, stand up, pick up, give me, put away/in/clean up
Applicant follows a minimum of 10 gross motor imitations
Applicant follows a minimum of 10 motor imitations with objects
Applicant is able to sit in a chair or in one spot on the floor for a minimum of 5 minutes (this can be when engaged or not engaged with an activity, alone, or with another person)
Applicant exhibits zero to low frequency and intensity of aggression or self injurious behavior

*Victory Academy currently staffs to teach students fitting the above descriptions. If the following skills are not present in a perspective applicant’s repertoire, Victory Academy recommends one-to-one therapies to establish these skills before applying to the school.
